Jog-A-Thon
Jog-A-Thon is an exciting annual fundraising event for students and their cheering fans as they jog around our school track. Students raise funds and participate in special challenges leading up to the event.
Holiday House
Tis' the season to impart the joy of giving with our students! Holiday House offers all students the opportunity to shop for loved ones during the December holiday season. Gifts are then wrapped by our volunteer elves to add extra magic to this joyous experience!
Father-Daughter Dance
This event is a night for our girls to shine! All fathers and father figures are invited to join their daughters for a memorable evening full of dancing, singing, and fun with your little ladies!
Spring Fling
Nothing screams fun more than a school Spring Fling! Carnival games, inflatables, food trucks, and treats will undoubtedly make our annual Spring Fling a favorite event!
STEAMART
STEAMART is a day for our budding student entrepreneurs to shine while embracing STEAM fun! Students are invited to set up booths to sell handmade items, such as 3-D printed items, homemade slime, or possibly original art pieces, during one Sunday afternoon in December. The event will also include food trucks, fun, and a special day to connect with our school community during a busy holiday season.
Mother-Son Event
All moms and mother figures are invited to spend a special evening with your young gentlemen! While the evening's fun may vary annually, it will certainly be a special event to remember for both our moms & boys!
STEAM Nights
Our STEAM Nights are an opportunity for students and families to enjoy hands-on science experiments, math & engineering activities. These are planned several times throughout the year to underscore the school's commitment to upholding STEAM education.
Field Day
There's a reason students LOVE Field Day! Games, races, and laughter define the day as students go head-to-head in friendly class competitions!
Book Fair
Every fall and spring, SRS holds a week-long book fair to inspire a love of reading among students. The initiative also supports the media center and classroom libraries.
5th Grade Graduation
This special event is a time to celebrate & honor our hardworking 5th grade graduates as they say goodbye to their elementary years!
Programs
Snowflakes
The PTO partners with our school administrators to identify and support Skye Ranch School families that may need an extra hand over the holiday season. All donors and recipients remain completely anonymous.
Weathermen
The Weathermen are our dedicated male volunteers who support the PTO and school in a variety of capacities. Whether they are grilling, helping in the garden, supporting select school events, and offering fundraising support, the Weathermen strive to be the men our kids remember seeing at school events-- rain or shine!
Grill Masters
Calling all Grill Masters! This group supports select school events by grilling burgers and hotdogs to feed our school community, all while having fun and fostering new friendships along the way.
Go Gold
Skye Ranch School proudly joins other local schools to raise funds and awareness to support pediatric cancer research in honor of all children bravely fighting cancer.
Garden
Our Garden Committee will help establish and maintain the school garden, ultimately allowing classes to visit for educational, hands-on learning opportunities for students.
Reading Partners
Our Reading Partners program provides select Kindergarten-2nd grade students one-on-one time to improve their reading skills, comprehension, vocabulary and confidence. Parents or community member volunteers meet with the same student for 30-40 minutes once a week all year.
School Store
The school is thrilled to offer a physical school store where students can purchase SRS merchandise, including spirit shirts, hoodies, pencils, and other school items. Concessions will also be available at the store during select athletic events.
Staff Appreciation
Supporting our wonderful staff is at the heart of PTO's mission. Lunches, treats, supplies, grants, and a special weeklong recognition in May are among the many ways we plan to show our gratitude to those who work tirelessly for our students each day!
